1995 WISCONSIN ACT 165
An Act to renumber 944.20; to renumber and amend 948.10; and to create 944.17 (3), 944.20 (2) and 948.10 (2) of the statutes; relating to: breast-feeding.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
165,1 Section 1 . 944.17 (3) of the statutes is created to read:
944.17 (3) Subsection (2) does not apply to a mother's breast-feeding of her child.
165,2 Section 2 . 944.20 of the statutes is renumbered 944.20 (1).
165,3 Section 3 . 944.20 (2) of the statutes is created to read:
944.20 (2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a mother's breast-feeding of her child.
165,4 Section 4 . 948.10 of the statutes is renumbered 948.10 (1) and amended to read:
948.10 (1) Whoever, for purposes of sexual arousal or sexual gratification, causes a child to expose genitals or pubic area or exposes genitals or pubic area to a child is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. This section does not apply if the child is the defendant's spouse.
165,5 Section 5 . 948.10 (2) of the statutes is created to read:
948.10 (2) Subsection (1) does not apply under any of the following circumstances:
(a) The child is the defendant's spouse.
(b) A mother's breast-feeding of her child.
165,6 Section 6 . Initial applicability.
(1)  This act first applies to acts occurring on the effective date of this subsection.
