1997 WISCONSIN ACT 269
An Act to create 341.05 (25) of the statutes; relating to: exempting wood harvesting slashers from vehicle registration and granting rule-making authority.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
269,1 Section 1 . 341.05 (25) of the statutes is created to read:
341.05 (25) Is a wood harvesting slasher, as defined by the department by rule, that is used principally off the highway.
269,2 Section 2 . Nonstatutory provisions.
(1) The department of transportation shall submit in proposed form a rule defining “wood harvesting slasher" for purposes of section 341.05 (25) of the statutes, as affected by this act, to the legislative council staff under section 227.15 (1) of the statutes no later than the first day of the 4th month beginning after the effective date of this subsection.
