An Act to create 346.03 (2m) of the statutes; relating to: open doors on authorized emergency vehicles.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
184,1 Section 1. 346.03 (2m) of the statutes is created to read:
346.03 (2m) Notwithstanding s. 346.94 (20), a law enforcement officer, a fire fighter, or emergency medical personnel may open and leave open any door of an authorized emergency vehicle when the vehicle is stopped, standing, or parked and the person is performing official duties.
