2021 WISCONSIN ACT 70
An Act to amend 23.33 (1) (ng) 1. a. and 23.33 (1) (ng) 2. a. of the statutes; relating to: the weight limit for utility terrain vehicles.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
70,1 Section 1. 23.33 (1) (ng) 1. a. of the statutes is amended to read:
23.33 (1) (ng) 1. a. A weight, without fluids, of 2,000 3,000 pounds or less.
70,2 Section 2. 23.33 (1) (ng) 2. a. of the statutes is amended to read:
23.33 (1) (ng) 2. a. It does not meet federal motor vehicle safety standards in effect on July 1, 2012; is not a golf cart, low-speed vehicle, dune buggy, mini-truck, or tracked vehicle; is designed to be used primarily off of a highway; and has, and was originally manufactured with, a weight, without fluids, of not more than 2000 3,000 pounds.
