AB1044-ASA1-AA5,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB1044-ASA1-AA5,1,2 1. Page 6, line 9: after that line insert:

AB1044-ASA1-AA5,1,8 "(am) The commissioner of insurance and the secretary of health and family services shall create a committee under section 15.04 (1) (c) of the statutes on the health insurance risk-sharing plan replacement program to advise the commissioner and the secretary on the issues to be addressed by the study and to prepare a report of the study and proposed legislation for the replacement health care program. The committee members shall consist of the following:

AB1044-ASA1-AA5,1,11 1. At least 2 persons who have coverage under the health insurance risk-sharing plan under subchapter II of chapter 619 of the statutes, appointed by the commissioner and the secretary.

AB1044-ASA1-AA5,1,14 2. Members of the senate, in equal numbers from the majority and minority parties, appointed in the same manner as members of standing committees in the senate.

AB1044-ASA1-AA5,2,3 3. Members of the assembly, in equal numbers from the majority and minority parties, appointed in the same manner as members of standing committees in the assembly.

AB1044-ASA1-AA5,2,5 4. Representatives from other interested groups and organizations, appointed by the commissioner and the secretary.".

AB1044-ASA1-AA5,2,7 2. Page 6, line 10: delete "office and the department" and substitute: "committee on the health insurance risk-sharing plan replacement program".
