AB1054-ASA1,1,2 1An Act to amend 340.01 (2g) of the statutes; relating to: modifying the
2definition of all-terrain vehicle.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB1054-ASA1, s. 1 3Section 1. 340.01 (2g) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB1054-ASA1,1,114 340.01 (2g) "All-terrain vehicle" means an engine-driven device which has a
5net weight of 650 700 pounds or less, which has a width of 48 inches or less, which
6is equipped with a seat designed to be straddled by the operator and which is
7designed to travel on 3 or more low-pressure tires. A low pressure tire is a tire which
8has a minimum width of 6 inches, which is designed to be mounted on a rim with a
9maximum diameter of 12 inches and which is designed to be inflated with an
10operating pressure not to exceed 6 pounds per square inch as recommended by the
11manufacturer.
