SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 ASSEMBLY BILL 13

AB13-SSA1,1,3 An Act to create 16.25, 20.505 (1) (dm) and 943.13 (2m) of the statutes; relating to: providing reimbursement for signs notifying a person not to trespass on land, granting rule-making authority and making an appropriation.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB13-SSA1, s. 1 Section 1. 16.25 of the statutes is created to read:

AB13-SSA1,1,10 16.25 Trespassing notice reimbursement. The department shall provide reimbursement of not more than $500 to a landowner who posts his or her land in conformity with s. 943.13 (2) for the cost of the sign that the landowner posts. The department shall promulgate rules for the administration of this section. The rules shall require the landowner to submit receipts documenting the cost of the signs posted by the landowner.

AB13-SSA1, s. 2 Section 2. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert the following amounts for the purposes indicated: - See PDF for table

AB13-SSA1, s. 3 Section 3. 20.505 (1) (dm) of the statutes is created to read:

AB13-SSA1,2,3 20.505 (1) (dm) Trespassing notice reimbursement. The amounts in the schedule for funding the trespassing notice reimbursement program under s. 16.25.

AB13-SSA1, s. 4 Section 4. 943.13 (2m) of the statutes is created to read:

AB13-SSA1,2,6 943.13 (2m) A person may seek reimbursement from the department of administration under s. 16.25 for notices posted under sub. (2).

AB13-SSA1, s. 5 Section 5. Effective date.

AB13-SSA1,2,8 (1)  This act takes effect on July 1, 1996.
