AB134-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB134-SA1,1,2 21. Page 1, line 3: before that line insert:
AB134-SA1,1,4 3" Section 1g. 814.04 (intro.) of the statutes, as affected by 1995 Wisconsin Acts
424, 27, section 7148c, and 133, is amended to read:
AB134-SA1,1,8 5814.04 Items of costs. Except as provided in ss. 93.20, 106.04 (6) (i) and (6m)
6(a), 769.313, 814.025, 814.245, 895.035 (4) and (4m), 895.75 (3), 895.77 (2), 895.79 (3),
7895.80 (3), 943.212 (2) (b), 943.245 (2) (d) and 943.51 (2) (b), when allowed costs shall
8be as follows:".

AB134-SA1,2,714 895.035 (4) Except for recovery for graffiti damage under sub. (4m) and for
15recovery for retail theft under s. 943.51, the maximum recovery from any parent or

1parents may not exceed the amount specified in s. 799.01 (1) (d) for damages
2resulting from any one act of a child in addition to taxable costs and disbursements
3and reasonable attorney fees, as determined by the court. If 2 or more children in
4the custody of the same parent or parents commit the same act the total recovery may
5not exceed the amount specified in s. 799.01 (1) (d), in addition to taxable costs and
6disbursements. The maximum recovery from any parent or parents for retail theft
7by their minor child is established under s. 943.51.
