SENATE AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 ASSEMBLY BILL 145

AB145-SA1,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill , as shown by assembly substitute amendment 1, as follows:

AB145-SA1,1,3 1. Page 2, line 8: delete that line and substitute:

AB145-SA1,1,5 "166.21 (2) (bm) Subject to sub. (2m), and except as provided under par. (br), 50% of the costs of computers and".

AB145-SA1,1,6 2. Page 2, line 11: after that line insert:

AB145-SA1,1,7 " Section 3m. 166.21 (2) (br) of the statutes is created to read:

AB145-SA1,1,12 166.21 (2) (br) Subject to sub. (2m), for grant applications submitted during the period after the effective date of this paragraph .... [revisor inserts date], and before September 1, 1997, 80% of the costs of computers and emergency response equipment, but not to exceed $10,000. In-kind contributions may be used to meet the committee's contribution under this paragraph.".

AB145-SA1,1,14 3. Page 4, line 14: on page 2, line 8, of the material inserted by assembly amendment 4, after the first period insert:

AB145-SA1,2,2 "(2)  By December 31, 1996, the state emergency response board shall submit a report to the legislature, in the manner provided under section 13.172 (2) of the statutes, on the impact that this act has on local units of government, local emergency response committees and emergency response teams.".
