AB150-ASA1-AA22,1,2 1. Page 1371, line 4: after that line insert:

AB150-ASA1-AA22,1,3 " Section 3971d. 118.30 (1r) of the statutes is created to read:

AB150-ASA1-AA22,1,7 118.30 (1r) Each private school participating in the program under s. 119.23 shall also administer the 4th, 8th and 10th grade examinations and performance assessments, as described under sub. (1m), to the pupils enrolled in the private school in the appropriate grades.".

AB150-ASA1-AA22,2,5 1. Annually administer a standardized reading test developed by the department to all pupils in the program who are enrolled in the 3rd grade.

AB150-ASA1-AA22,2,8 2. Annually distribute to the parent or guardian of each pupil in the program a report that includes information on the pupil's performance on the test under subd. 1. and the examinations administered under s. 118.30.

AB150-ASA1-AA22,2,9 3. Annually provide for an independent financial audit of the private school.

AB150-ASA1-AA22,2,13 (b) The department shall monitor the compliance of private schools with par. (a) and s. 118.30. If the department determines in any school year that the private school has violated par. (a) or s. 118.30, the private school may not participate in the program under this section in the following school year.".
