SENATE AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 ASSEMBLY BILL 166

AB166-SA1,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 1, as follows:

AB166-SA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: after "gasoline" insert ", the sale of reformulated gasoline".

AB166-SA1,1,4 2. Page 1, line 4: delete lines 4 and 5 and substitute:

AB166-SA1,1,5 " Section 1. 144.3716 of the statutes is repealed.

AB166-SA1, s. 1e Section 1e. 168.04 of the statutes is amended to read:

AB166-SA1,1,16 168.04 Standards. The department by rule shall prescribe minimum product grade specifications for gasoline, reformulated gasoline, as defined in s. 144.3716 (1), and kerosene and may prescribe product grade specifications for automotive gasoline, gasoline-alcohol fuel blends, aviation gasoline, fuel oils and diesel fuels. Automotive gasoline specifications shall include lead content. The rules shall, to the extent feasible, be in conformity with nationally recognized standards, specifications and classifications, such as those published by the American society for testing and materials, the society of automotive engineers and the U.S. environmental protection agency. The department may not promulgate or enforce a rule prohibiting additional information from placement on the dispensing device.

AB166-SA1, s. 1r Section 1r. 168.11 (1) (b) of the statutes is renumbered 168.11 (1) (b) 1m. and amended to read:".

AB166-SA1,2,4 4. Page 1, line 14: after that line insert:

AB166-SA1,2,5 " Section 1z. 168.11 (1) (b) 1. of the statutes is created to read:

AB166-SA1,2,8 168.11 (1) (b) 1. In this paragraph, "reformulated gasoline" means gasoline formulated to reduce emissions of volatile organic compounds and toxic air pollutants as provided in 42 USC 7545 (k) (1) to (3).".
