SENATE AMENDMENT 13, To 1995 ASSEMBLY BILL 21

AB21-SA13,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB21-SA13,1,4 1. Page 1, line 5: delete the material beginning with "limiting" and ending with the semicolon on line 6 and substitute: "establishing a uniform benefit under the aid to families with dependent children program;".

AB21-SA13,1,5 2. Page 5, line 4: delete lines 4 to 7 and substitute:

AB21-SA13,1,9 "49.19 (11s) (a) The department shall request a waiver from the secretary of the federal department of health and human services to permit the application of pars. (b) to (d) beginning on January 1, 1996. The waiver may request permission to apply pars. (b) to (d) to all recipients of aid under".

AB21-SA13,1,11 3. Page 5, line 12: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 6, line 6, and substitute:

AB21-SA13,2,2 "(b) Notwithstanding sub. (11) (a) 1. to 4., in determining eligibility for aid under this section and in determining the benefit amount to be provided under this section, monthly payments under s. 20.435 (4) (d) and (p) to persons or to families with dependent children under this section shall be based, regardless of family size or the county in which the persons or family resides, on a standard of assistance equal to the poverty line for a family the size of 3.".

AB21-SA13,2,5 5. Page 10, line 22: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 11, line 4.

AB21-SA13,2,9 7. Page 14, line 22: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 15, line 19, as affected by assembly amendment 7.

AB21-SA13,2,10 8. Page 16, line 1: delete lines 1 to 3.
