AB260-ASA1,1,3 1An Act to renumber and amend 125.69 (6); to amend 125.69 (6) (title); and
2to create 125.69 (6) (b) of the statutes; relating to: permitting "Class B"
3licensees to purchase intoxicating liquor from "Class A" licensees.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB260-ASA1, s. 1 4Section 1. 125.69 (6) (title) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB260-ASA1,1,65 125.69 (6) (title) Campuses Purchases by campuses and retailers to purchase
6from persons holding permits

AB260-ASA1, s. 2 7Section 2. 125.69 (6) of the statutes is renumbered 125.69 (6) (a) and amended
8to read:
AB260-ASA1,1,129 125.69 (6) (a) No Except as provided in par. (b), no campus or retail licensee or
10permittee may purchase or possess intoxicating liquor purchased from any person
11other than a manufacturer, rectifier or wholesaler holding a permit under this
12chapter for the sale of intoxicating liquor.
AB260-ASA1,1,14 13(c) Any person who violates this subsection may be fined not more than $10,000
14or imprisoned for not more than 9 months or both.

1Section 3. 125.69 (6) (b) of the statutes is created to read:
AB260-ASA1,2,62 125.69 (6) (b) 1. A "Class B" licensee may purchase intoxicating liquor from any
3"Class A" licensee if the purchase is made by the person to whom the "Class B" license
4is issued, by a holder of a manager's or operator's license or by the agent appointed
5under s. 125.04 (6) if the "Class B" licensee is a corporation or limited liability
6company.
AB260-ASA1,2,87 2. Notwithstanding subd. 1., no "Class B" licensee may purchase more than 12
8liters of intoxicating liquor from "Class A" licensees in one month.
AB260-ASA1,2,109 3. No "Class A" licensee may transport intoxicating liquor purchased from the
10"Class A" licensee by a "Class B" licensee to the "Class B" licensee's licensed premises.
AB260-ASA1,2,1411 4. A "Class A" licensee who sells intoxicating liquor to a "Class B" licensee under
12this paragraph shall furnish an invoice for the sale of the intoxicating liquor to the
13"Class B" licensee and retain a copy of the invoice for a period of 2 years from the date
14of the sale.
