AB37-ASA2-AA12,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB37-ASA2-AA12,1,2 1. Page 8, line 22: after that line insert:

AB37-ASA2-AA12,1,3 " Section 14m. 11.33 (1) (a) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB37-ASA2-AA12,1,8 11.33 (1) (a) (intro.) No person elected to any state or local office other than state senator or representative to the assembly who becomes a candidate for national, state or local office may use public funds for the cost of materials or distribution for 50 or more pieces of substantially identical material distributed after:

AB37-ASA2-AA12, s. 14L Section 14L. 11.33 (1m) of the statutes is created to read:

AB37-ASA2-AA12,1,14 11.33 (1m) (a) No person elected to the office of state senator or representative to the assembly may use public funds for the cost of materials or distribution for 50 or more pieces of substantially identical material distributed during the period beginning on June 1 of each even-numbered year and ending on the date of the general election.

AB37-ASA2-AA12,2,5 (b) No person elected to the office of state senator or representative to the assembly may use public funds for the cost of materials or distribution for 250 or more pieces of substantially identical material distributed during the period beginning on the date of the general election and ending on May 31 of the following even-numbered year.

AB37-ASA2-AA12, s. 14m Section 14m. 11.33 (2) (a) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB37-ASA2-AA12,2,8 11.33 (2) (a) Answers to communications of constituents by any person elected to an office other than representative to the assembly or state senator.

AB37-ASA2-AA12, s. 14n Section 14n. 11.33 (2) (d) of the statutes is repealed.".
