AB37-ASA2-AA16,1,7 7" Section 6m. 11.19 (6) of the statutes is created to read:
AB37-ASA2-AA16,1,158 11.19 (6) (a) No candidate for legislative office, personal campaign committee
9of such a candidate or support committee of such a candidate authorized under s.
1011.05 (3) (p) may retain in a campaign depository account during the period prior to
11the applicable deadline for filing nomination papers under s. 8.15 (1), 8.20 (8) (a) or
128.50 (3) (a) for the election at which the candidate seeks office or during the period
13following the general election or the special election at which the candidate seeks
14office contributions that exceed incurred obligations by more than the following
15amount:

11. For a candidate for the office of representative to the assembly, $5,000.
AB37-ASA2-AA16,2,22 2. For a candidate for the office of state senator, $10,000.
AB37-ASA2-AA16,2,73 (b) A candidate or treasurer of a personal campaign committee or support
4committee shall transfer contributions in excess of the amount permitted under par.
5(a) for another political purpose not prohibited by law, shall return the contributions
6to the donors in an amount not exceeding the original contributions, or shall donate
7the contributions to a charitable organization or to the common school fund.".
