AB37-ASA2-AA5,1,2 21. Page 1, line 6: before that line insert:
AB37-ASA2-AA5,1,3 3" Section 1. 11.01 (14) of the statutes is created to read:
AB37-ASA2-AA5,1,64 11.01 (14) "Partisan state office" means the office of governor, lieutenant
5governor, secretary of state, state treasurer, attorney general, state senator, state
6representative to the assembly or district attorney.".
AB37-ASA2-AA5,1,7 72. Page 1, line 6: substitute "Section 1m." for "Section 1.".
AB37-ASA2-AA5,1,8 83. Page 10, line 5: after that line insert:
AB37-ASA2-AA5,1,9 9" Section 15f. 11.395 of the statutes is created to read:
AB37-ASA2-AA5,2,3 1011.395 Contributions limited during certain periods. (1) No individual
11who is a candidate for a partisan state office and who receives a contribution may
12accept the contribution if the contribution is made during the period commencing on
13the first Monday in January of each odd-numbered year and ending with the date
14of enactment of the biennial budget act. No personal campaign committee or support

1committee authorized under s. 11.05 (3) (p) of an individual who is prohibited from
2accepting a contribution under this section may accept a contribution that the
3individual is prohibited from accepting.
AB37-ASA2-AA5,2,4 4(2) This section does not apply to a contribution accepted by:
AB37-ASA2-AA5,2,75 (a) An individual who is a candidate for the office of district attorney or the
6personal campaign committee of such an individual or the support committee of such
7an individual authorized under s. 11.05 (3) (p).
AB37-ASA2-AA5,2,158 (b) A candidate for a partisan state office, or the personal campaign committee
9of such a candidate, which is accepted after the day of an election at which the
10candidate's name appeared on the ballot and in which the candidate was elected or
11defeated, for the purpose of retiring obligations incurred by the candidate or
12committee in relation to that election, for so long as the campaign of the candidate
13continues under s. 11.26 (17) (d) provided that the cash balance in the campaign
14depository account of the candidate or committee does not exceed $500 at the time
15that the contribution is accepted.
AB37-ASA2-AA5,2,1816 (c) A candidate for a partisan state office at a special election, or to the personal
17campaign committee of such a candidate, during the period commencing on the date
18that the special election is ordered and ending on the date of the special election.".
