AB399-AA6,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB399-AA6,1,4 1. Page 2, line 14: delete the material beginning with the underscored comma and ending with "medication" on page 3, line 1, and substitute: "and the pain or discomfort cannot be alleviated through pain relief measures".

AB399-AA6,1,8 2. Page 7, line 6: delete the material beginning with "to" and ending with "medication" on line 8, and substitute: " withholding or withdrawing life-sustaining procedures or feeding tubes would cause the patient pain or reduced comfort and that the pain or discomfort cannot be alleviated through pain relief measures".
