AB487-ASA1,1,3 An Act to create 125.12 (2) (ag) 7., 125.12 (4) (ag) 9. and 125.33 (10) of the statutes; relating to: the source of a wholesaler's supply of fermented malt beverages purchased for resale.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB487-ASA1, s. 1 Section 1. 125.12 (2) (ag) 7. of the statutes is created to read:

AB487-ASA1,1,6 125.12 (2) (ag) 7. The person received the benefit from an act prohibited under s. 125.33 (10).

AB487-ASA1, s. 2 Section 2. 125.12 (4) (ag) 9. of the statutes is created to read:

AB487-ASA1,1,9 125.12 (4) (ag) 9. That the licensee received the benefit from an act prohibited under s. 125.33 (10).

AB487-ASA1, s. 3 Section 3. 125.33 (10) of the statutes is created to read:

AB487-ASA1,1,13 125.33 (10) Source of fermented malt beverages. (a) In this section, "designated wholesaler" means a wholesaler designated by the brewer to sell a brand of fermented malt beverages.

AB487-ASA1,2,5 (b) No wholesaler may purchase for resale or sell a brand of fermented malt beverages within an area served by a designated wholesaler of that brand unless the fermented malt beverages are purchased from the brewer, from the exclusive agent designated by the brewer for that brand of fermented malt beverages, or from a designated wholesaler.
