AB557-ASA1-AA19,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB557-ASA1-AA19,1,3 1. Page 3, line 10: after the semicolon insert: "the furnishing of social security numbers on applications for licenses and identification cards;".

AB557-ASA1-AA19,1,4 2. Page 62, line 11: after that line insert:

AB557-ASA1-AA19,1,5 " Section 162j. 343.14 (2) (b) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB557-ASA1-AA19,1,7 343.14 (2) (b) The applicant's date of birth, social security number, color of eyes, color of hair, sex, height, weight and race;

AB557-ASA1-AA19, s. 162m Section 162m. 343.14 (2) (bg) of the statutes is created to read:

AB557-ASA1-AA19,1,11 343.14 (2) (bg) If the application is for a commercial driver license, the applicant's social security number. This paragraph applies to the extent required under federal law;".

AB557-ASA1-AA19,1,12 3. Page 89, line 11: after that line insert:

AB557-ASA1-AA19,2,3 "(3gx) Social security numbers. The treatment of section 343.14 (2) (b) and (bg) of the statutes takes effect on the first day of the 6th month beginning after publication.".
