AB591-ASA3-AA4,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:
AB591-ASA3-AA4,1,3 21. Page 75, line 3: delete "A" and substitute "Except as provided in par. (av),
3a".
AB591-ASA3-AA4,1,4 42. Page 75, line 11: after that line insert:
AB591-ASA3-AA4,1,7 5"(av) Customized labor training. 1. In this paragraph, "customized labor
6training" means training that is specific to a particular unsubsidized employment
7position that has been guaranteed to the participant upon completion of the training.
AB591-ASA3-AA4,1,148 2. A Wisconsin works agency may permit a participant to engage in customized
9labor training for up to 20 hours. The hours spent in customized labor training shall
10be applied first to any hours of education or training required under par. (as) and
11then to the hours of work required under par. (as). The Wisconsin works agency may
12permit the participant to engage in customized labor training for not longer than 6
13months. The Wisconsin works agency may not permit participation under this
14paragraph unless all of the following conditions are met:

1a. The employer guaranteeing the unsubsidized employment position pays at
2least 25% of the cost of the customized labor training for the participant.
AB591-ASA3-AA4,2,53 b. The agency providing the customized labor training identifies sources of
4financial aid available to the participant to pay for the remaining cost of the
5customized labor training.".
