AB591-SA35,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 3, as follows:

AB591-SA35,1,3 1. Page 57, line 13: after that line insert:

AB591-SA35,1,7 "(2d) Implementation in counties with a population of 500,000 or more. (a) In this subsection, "family-supporting job" means a job, the wage for which is sufficient for an individual to support his or her family at or above the poverty level for a family the size of the individual's family.

AB591-SA35,1,12 (b) The department may not implement Wisconsin works in any 1st class city or in any county having a population of 500,000 or more until the department develops an economic development plan for that city and for that county. The plan shall include the creation of permanent, accessible and family-supporting jobs in that city and in that county.".
