AB6-AA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB6-AA3,1,3 1. Page 1 line 5: delete ", 1996-97 or 1997-98" and substitute: ", 1996-97 or, 1997-98, 1998-99 or 1999-2000".

AB6-AA3,1,4 2. Page 1, line 5: on lines 5 and 6, delete "or for any school year thereafter".

AB6-AA3,1,5 3. Page 1, line 6: after that line insert:

AB6-AA3,1,6 " Section 2. 121.93 of the statutes is created to read:

AB6-AA3,1,10 121.93 Report. By January 1, 1998, the department of public instruction and the department of revenue shall jointly submit a report to the governor and to the joint committee on finance describing the effects of the revenue limit under this subchapter on property taxes and the quality of education in this state.".
