AB666-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB666-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 4: delete that line and substitute:

AB666-AA1,1,3 " Section 1b. 49.46 (2) (b) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB666-AA1,1,6 49.46 (2) (b) (intro.) Except as provided in par. pars. (bc) and (be), the department shall audit and pay allowable charges to certified providers for medical assistance on behalf of recipients for the following services:

AB666-AA1, s. 1d Section 1d. 49.46 (2) (b) 1. hm. and im. of the statutes are created to read:".

AB666-AA1,1,8 2. Page 1, line 6: after that line insert:

AB666-AA1,1,9 " Section 1f. 49.46 (2) (bc) of the statutes is created to read:

AB666-AA1,2,2 49.46 (2) (bc) No later than 30 days after the effective date of this paragraph .... [revisor inserts date], the department shall submit to the federal department of health and human services an amendment to the state medical assistance plan to permit the application of par. (b) 1. hm. and im. The amendment shall request that the application of par. (b) 1. hm. and im. take effect on the earliest date permitted under federal law. Paragraph (b) 1. hm. and im. applies beginning on the date specified in the amendment. Paragraph (b) 1. hm. and im. does not apply if the amendment to the state plan is disapproved.".

AB666-AA1,2,4 3. Page 2, line 1: decrease the dollar amount for fiscal year 1995-96 by $64,100 to decrease funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.

AB666-AA1,2,6 4. Page 2, line 2: increase the dollar amount for fiscal year 1996-97 by $396,900 to increase funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.

AB666-AA1,2,7 5. Page 2, line 4: delete lines 4 and 5.
