AB69-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB69-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 7: after "subs." insert "(2m),".

AB69-AA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 3: after that line insert:

AB69-AA1,1,6 "(2m) Nothing in this section prohibits a city, village or town that is authorized to exercise village powers under s. 60.22 (3) from enacting an ordinance or adopting a resolution that does all of the following:

AB69-AA1,1,8 (a) Prohibits the discharge of a firearm under circumstances that endanger a person or a domestic animal.

AB69-AA1,1,10 (b) Exempts from its prohibitions the discharge of a firearm by any of the following:

AB69-AA1,1,12 1. A person acting in self-defense or defense of another, as allowed under s. 939.48.

AB69-AA1,1,13 2. A law enforcement officer while in the line of duty.

AB69-AA1,1,15 3. A humane officer or other person authorized to engage in animal control while in the line of duty.

AB69-AA1,1,16 4. A person at a shooting range or club.

AB69-AA1,2,2 (c) Requires violations of the ordinance or resolution to be proven by clear and convincing evidence.".
