SENATE AMENDMENT 3, To 1995 ASSEMBLY BILL 69

AB69-SA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB69-SA3,1,2 1. Page 2, line 8: delete the 2nd "purchase".

AB69-SA3,1,3 2. Page 2, line 9: delete "delay,".

AB69-SA3,1,4 3. Page 2, line 11: after that line insert:

AB69-SA3,1,8 "(am) Nothing in this section prohibits a political subdivision from continuing to enforce until November 30, 1998, an ordinance or resolution that is in effect on the effective date of this paragraph .... [revisor inserts date], and that requires a waiting period of not more than 7 days for the purchase of a handgun.".

AB69-SA3,1,9 4. Page 2, line 14: delete "purchase delay,".

AB69-SA3,1,10 5. Page 2, line 22: after "(a)" insert "or (am)".

AB69-SA3,1,11 6. Page 3, line 1: after "(a)" insert "or (am)".
