AB762-ASA1,1,3 1An Act to renumber 27.01 (8) (d) (title); to renumber and amend 27.01 (8) (d);
2and to create 27.01 (8m) (a) 2. and 27.01 (8m) (b) of the statutes; relating to:
3collection of admission fees to state trails and Heritage Hill State Park.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB762-ASA1, s. 1 4Section 1. 27.01 (8) (d) (title) of the statutes is renumbered 27.01 (8m) (title).
AB762-ASA1, s. 2 5Section 2. 27.01 (8) (d) of the statutes is renumbered 27.01 (8m) (a) (intro.) and
6amended to read:
AB762-ASA1,1,97 27.01 (8m) (a) (intro.) The department may authorize agents, including the
8department's concessionaires and their agents, to collect the admission fees and to
9under sub. (8) as follows:
AB762-ASA1,1,12 101. Agents who are managers and operators of state trails, and who incur actual
11operating expenses, may
retain not more than 20% 70% of the admission fees
12collected by them that they collect.
AB762-ASA1,1,14 13(c) The department shall regulate their the activities of agents under this
14subsection
in a manner similar to s. 29.09.

1Section 3. 27.01 (8m) (a) 2. of the statutes is created to read:
AB762-ASA1,2,32 27.01 (8m) (a) 2. Agents to whom subd. 1. does not apply may retain not more
3than 20% of the admission fees that they collect.
AB762-ASA1, s. 4 4Section 4. 27.01 (8m) (b) of the statutes is created to read:
AB762-ASA1,2,75 27.01 (8m) (b) An agent who is a manager and operator of a state trail, and who
6incurs actual operating expenses, must use the fees retained under this subsection
7for the operation of the state trail.
