AB83-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB83-SA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: after "worker" insert ", emergency medical technician, first responder or ambulance driver".

AB83-SA1,1,4 2. Page 1, line 4: after that line insert:

AB83-SA1,1,5 "1e. "Ambulance" has the meaning given in s. 146.50 (1) (a).".

AB83-SA1,1,6 3. Page 1, line 5: substitute "1g." for "1.".

AB83-SA1,1,7 4. Page 2, line 3: after that line insert:

AB83-SA1,1,8 "2g. "Emergency medical technician" has the meaning given in s. 146.50 (1) (e).

AB83-SA1,1,9 2m. "First responder" has the meaning given in s. 146.53 (1) (d).".

AB83-SA1,1,11 5. Page 2, line 7: delete lines 7 to 9, as affected by assembly amendment 1, and substitute:

AB83-SA1,2,2 "(b) Whoever intentionally causes bodily harm to an emergency department worker, an emergency medical technician, a first responder or an ambulance driver who is acting in an official capacity and who the person knows or has reason to know is an emergency department worker, an emergency medical technician, a first responder or an ambulance driver, by an act done without the consent of the person".
