SENATE AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 ASSEMBLY BILL 908

AB908-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB908-SA1,1,4 1. Page 3, line 6: on lines 6 to 10, delete the material inserted by assembly amendment 1, as affected by assembly amendment 1 to assembly amendment 1, and substitute:

AB908-SA1,1,8 "(a) "Instructional staff" means all professional employes of a school who have, as part of their responsibility, direct contact with students of the school or with the instructional program of the school. "Instructional staff" includes teachers, librarians, pupil services staff and administrative staff.

AB908-SA1,1,9 (b) "School" means a public or private elementary or secondary school.".

AB908-SA1,1,11 2. Page 3, line 14: on lines 14 to 16, delete the material inserted by assembly amendment 1 and substitute:

AB908-SA1,1,12 "(a) The child is enrolled as a student in a school.

AB908-SA1,1,14 (b) The defendant is a member of the instructional staff of the school at which the child is enrolled as a student.

AB908-SA1,2,2 (c) The defendant's position under par. (b) gives him or her instructional, supervisory or disciplinary authority over the child.".
