SENATE AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 ASSEMBLY BILL 924

AB924-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the engrossed bill as follows:

AB924-SA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 6: increase the underscored dollar amount by $1,300,000.

AB924-SA1,1,3 2. Page 3, line 3: substitute "$5,300,000" for "$4,000,000".

AB924-SA1,1,4 3. Page 3, line 20: after that line insert:

AB924-SA1,1,5 "3. A project in a municipality to which all of the following apply:

AB924-SA1,1,6 a. The municipality satisfies section 144.241 (13) (b) 1. of the statutes.

AB924-SA1,1,8 b. The municipality is replacing a mechanical wastewater treatment plant on which construction began before 1950.

AB924-SA1,1,11 c. The municipality has not received a grant for construction modifications from the federal environmental protection agency or under section 144.21 of the statutes.

AB924-SA1,1,13 d. The municipality has continuously been eligible, under section 144.025 (2) (c) of the statutes, to make sewer extensions since July 1, 1978.

AB924-SA1,1,15 e. The municipality had a project on the 1994 and 1995 clean water fund funding list.".
