SENATE AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 ASSEMBLY BILL 955

AB955-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB955-SA1,1,2 1. Page 3, line 20: after that line insert:

AB955-SA1,1,3 " Section 3m. Nonstatutory provisions; revenue.

AB955-SA1,1,6 (1) Car line company tax. The department of revenue shall collect the tax under section 76.39 of the statutes, as affected by this act, at the rate of 3% for 1989 to 1995.".

AB955-SA1,1,9 2. Page 3, line 22: delete the material beginning with "first" and ending with "1996" on line 23 and substitute: "applies retroactively to taxes based on the gross earnings of 1988".

AB955-SA1,1,10 3. Page 4, line 1: delete "first applies" and substitute "applies retroactively".

AB955-SA1,1,12 4. Page 4, line 2: delete "the September 10 after publication" and substitute "May 10, 1989".
