AB979-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB979-AA2,1,2 1. Page 3, line 14: after that line insert:

AB979-AA2,1,3 "(j) "Relative" has the meaning given in s. 48.02 (15).".

AB979-AA2,1,5 2. Page 4, line 9: after that line, after the material inserted by assembly amendment 1, insert:

AB979-AA2,1,7 "(e) A relative who, within 48 hours after the time that the juvenile joins the relative, does any of the following:

AB979-AA2,1,9 1. Notifies a parent, guardian or legal custodian of a runaway juvenile that the juvenile is with the relative.

AB979-AA2,1,11 2. Requests any of the following to notify a parent, guardian or legal custodian of a runaway juvenile that the juvenile is with the relative:

AB979-AA2,1,12 a. A child welfare agency licensed under s. 48.60.

AB979-AA2,1,14 b. A home licensed under s. 48.48 or 48.75 that provides housing and services to juveniles under s. 48.227.".
