AJR37-ASA2-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AJR37-ASA2-AA2,1,2 1. Page 1, line 2: after the 2nd comma insert "vacancies in the office of,".

AJR37-ASA2-AA2,1,3 2. Page 2, line 4: after that line insert:

AJR37-ASA2-AA2,1,4 " Section 2. Section 4 (6) of article VI of the constitution is created to read:

AJR37-ASA2-AA2,1,7 [Article VI] Section 4 (6) When a vacancy occurs in the office of sheriff, the vacancy shall be filled by appointment of the governor, and the person appointed shall serve until his or her successor is elected and qualified.".
