SENATE AMENDMENT 1, To SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 SENATE BILL 4

SB4-SSA1-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

SB4-SSA1-SA1,1,2 1. Page 3, line 17: delete that line and substitute:

SB4-SSA1-SA1,1,4 "(a) Originals or certified copies of documents that are submitted by the state or by a city, village, town".

SB4-SSA1-SA1,1,5 2. Page 3, line 24: after that line insert:

SB4-SSA1-SA1,1,7 " Section 1m. 59.517 (4) (a) of the statutes, as affected by 1995 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), is repealed and recreated to read:

SB4-SSA1-SA1,1,9 59.517 (4) (a) Copies of documents that are certified by the state or by a city, village, town or county, or by a subunit or instrumentality of any of the foregoing.

SB4-SSA1-SA1,1,10 3. Page 5, line 1: delete lines 1 to 3 and substitute:

SB4-SSA1-SA1,1,12 " Section 5. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the first day of the 9th month after publication, except as follows:

SB4-SSA1-SA1,2,2 (1) The repeal and recreation of section 59.517 (4) (a) of the statutes takes effect on the first day of the 18th month after publication.
