SENATE AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 SENATE BILL 460

SB460-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB460-SA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: delete that line and substitute:

SB460-SA1,1,3 " Section 1m. 48.981 (7) (a) 2m. of the statutes is created to read:

SB460-SA1,1,5 48.981 (7) (a) 2m. A person authorized to provide or providing intake or dispositional services for the court under s. 48.067, 48.069 or 48.10.

SB460-SA1, s. 1p Section 1p. 48.981 (7) (a) 2r. of the statutes is created to read:

SB460-SA1,1,8 48.981 (7) (a) 2r. A person authorized to provide or providing intake or dispositional services under s. 938.067, 938.069 or 938.10.

SB460-SA1, s. 1r Section 1r. 48.981 (7) (a) 7. of the statutes is repealed.".

SB460-SA1,1,11 " Section 2d. 48.981 (7) (a) 10. of the statutes is amended to read:

SB460-SA1,1,15 48.981 (7) (a) 10. A court conducting proceedings under s. 48.21, a court conducting proceedings related to a petition under s. 48.13 or 48.42 or a court conducting dispositional proceedings under subch. VI or VIII in which abuse or neglect of the child who is the subject of the report or record is an issue.

SB460-SA1, s. 2m Section 2m. 48.981 (7) (a) 10g. of the statutes is amended to read:

SB460-SA1,2,6 48.981 (7) (a) 10g. A court conducting proceedings under s. 48.21, a court conducting proceedings related to a petition under s. 48.13 (3m) or (10m) or a court conducting dispositional proceedings under subch. VI in which an issue is the substantial risk of abuse or neglect of a child who, during the time period covered by the report or record, was in the home of the child who is the subject of the report or record.

SB460-SA1, s. 2r Section 2r. 48.981 (7) (a) 10j. of the statutes is created to read:

SB460-SA1,2,11 48.981 (7) (a) 10j. A court conducting proceedings under s. 938.21, a court conducting proceedings relating to a petition under ch. 938 or a court conducting dispositional proceedings under subch. VI of ch. 938 in which abuse or neglect of the child who is the subject of the report or record is an issue.

SB460-SA1, s. 2v Section 2v. 48.981 (7) (a) 11. of the statutes is amended to read:

SB460-SA1,2,15 48.981 (7) (a) 11. The county corporation counsel or district attorney representing the interests of the public and the counsel or guardian ad litem representing the interests of a child in proceedings under subd. 10. or, 10g or 10j.".

SB460-SA1,2,16 3. Page 3, line 8: after that line insert:

SB460-SA1,2,18 " Section 7m. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication, except as follows:

SB460-SA1,2,20 (1) The treatment of section 48.981 (7) (a) 2r., 10j. and 11. of the statutes takes effect on July 1, 1996, or on the day after publication, whichever is later.".
