SB501-AA16,1,2 21. Page 54, line 1: delete lines 1 and 2 and substitute:

9need of protection or services under s. 48.13 (11), the court shall not find that the
10child's parent, guardian or legal custodian has neglected, refused or been unable for
11reasons other than poverty or is neglecting, refusing or unable for reasons other than
12poverty to obtain necessary treatment or to take necessary steps to ameliorate the
13symptoms if the parent, guardian or legal custodian, in his or her discretion, has
14obtained appropriate treatment for the child, which treatment may include
15consultation with a member of the clergy or other religious counselor.
