In cases alleging a child to be
11in need of protection or services under s. 48.13 (11m), the court shall not find that the
12child's parent, guardian or legal custodian has neglected, refused or been unable for
13reasons other than poverty or is neglecting, refusing or unable for reasons other than
14poverty to obtain necessary treatment or to take necessary steps to ameliorate the
15symptoms if the parent, guardian or legal custodian, in his or her discretion, has
1obtained appropriate treatment for the child, which treatment may include
2consultation with a member of the clergy or other religious counselor.".
