ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 SENATE BILL 538

SB538-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB538-AA1,1,3 1. Page 2, line 3: delete lines 3 and 4 and substitute: "(4) to be paid to the clerk of circuit court.".

SB538-AA1,1,4 2. Page 2, line 5: on lines 5 and 6, delete "565.37" and substitute "565.30".

SB538-AA1,1,5 3. Page 2, line 8: on lines 8 and 11, substitute "(c)" for "(b)".

SB538-AA1,1,6 4. Page 4, line 14: delete "lottery prizes that are payable in instalments and".

SB538-AA1,1,7 5. Page 4, line 19: after that line insert:

SB538-AA1,1,9 "(c) Issue an order assigning lottery prizes that are payable in instalments if the court is notified that the defendant is a winner of such a prize.".

SB538-AA1,1,10 6. Page 5, line 3: delete "(b)" and substitute "(c)".

SB538-AA1,1,14 7. Page 5, line 15: after the period insert: "If the person has already received notice of an assignment under par. (a), the person shall retain the later assignment and withhold the amount specified in that assignment after the last of any prior assignments is paid in full.".

SB538-AA1,2,1 8. Page 7, line 11: delete "or on June 30, 1996, whichever is earlier".
