SB563-AA4,1,21 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute
2amendment 1, as follows:
SB563-AA4,1,3 31. Page 5, line 20: before that line insert:
SB563-AA4,1,6 4"(3) Public safety concerns. The department shall not release inmates for the
5purposes of the secure work program if the inmates pose a danger to the public.
6Inmates who pose a danger to the public include, but are not limited to:
SB563-AA4,1,77 (a) Those confined in medium or maximum security facilities.
SB563-AA4,1,98 (b) Those internally classified by the department as being other than minimal
9security risks.
SB563-AA4,1,1010 (c) Those who have been convicted of the following violent crimes:
SB563-AA4,1,1211 1. Any crime specified in s. 943.23 (1g) (1m) or (1r), 943.32, 944.06, 948.02,
12948.025, 948.03, 948.04, 948.055, 948.06, 948.07, 948.08, 948.11 or 948.12.
SB563-AA4,1,1313 2. Any crime specified in ch. 940 or 941.".
