SB565-AA4,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute amendment 1, as follows:

SB565-AA4,1,4 1. Page 56, line 7: after that line, delete the material inserted by senate amendment 12, and substitute:

SB565-AA4,1,5 "(3m) Farm progress days 1996.

SB565-AA4,1,8 (a) The development of transportation is prohibited from charging any sponsor of farm progress days 1996 for any costs of state traffic patrol services incurred by the department that are associated with farm progress days 1996.

SB565-AA4,1,12 (b) Notwithstanding paragraph (a), the department may charge any sponsor of farm progress days 1996 for the actual and reasonable costs incurred by the department of traffic rerouting, signage and any other special traffic-related activities that are directly associated with farm progress days 1996.

SB565-AA4,1,13 (c) This subsection does not apply after December 31, 1996.".
