SB572-ASA2,1,2 1An Act relating to: conviction record discrimination and granting rule-making
2authority.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
SB572-ASA2, s. 1 3Section 1. Nonstatutory provisions.
SB572-ASA2,1,114 (1) The department of industry, labor and job development shall submit in
5proposed form rules specifying occupations and corresponding convictions of which
6the circumstances of the offense shall be rebuttably presumed to be substantially
7related to that particular occupation for purposes of determining if employment
8discrimination exists because of a conviction record under section 111.335 (1) (c) of
9the statutes to the legislative council staff under section 227.15 (1) of the statutes no
10later than the first day of the 6th month beginning after the effective date of this
11subsection.
