SB602-AA4,1,2 1. Page 2, line 4: delete "The" and substitute "The Subject to sub. (1m), the".

SB602-AA4,1,3 2. Page 3, line 4: after that line insert:

SB602-AA4,1,4 " Section 5m. 301.21 (1m) of the statutes is created to read:

SB602-AA4,1,9 301.21 (1m) The department may not enter into a contract under this section for the transfer and confinement of prisoners in another state or political subdivision of another state unless there is no space available for the housing or detention of the prisoners in county jails or county houses of corrections under contracts entered into under s. 302.27.".
