SB602-AA5,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB602-AA5,1,3 1. Page 3, line 10: after that line, on page 1 of the material inserted by senate amendment 1, delete lines 3 to 7 and substitute:

SB602-AA5,1,4 "" Section 6p. 301.21 (6) of the statutes is repealed and recreated to read:

SB602-AA5,1,9 301.21 (6) Contracts under this section are subject to approval by the joint committee on finance. The joint committee on finance may not approve a contract under this section unless the cost to the department of transferring and confining prisoners under the contract is less than the cost of confining those prisoners in this state.".".
