SB9-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB9-SA1,1,2 1. Page 3, line 3: after that line insert:

SB9-SA1,1,3 " Section 3m. 344.14 (5) of the statutes is created to read:

SB9-SA1,1,9 344.14 (5) Notwithstanding s. 344.185 (1), the owner of a motor vehicle that is impounded under sub. (1m) is responsible for all costs of impounding the motor vehicle. Costs incurred by the state may be recovered in a civil action by the state against the owner. Whether or not the state recovers the cost of towing and enforcement, the state shall be responsible to the towing service for requisitional towing service and reasonable charges for impoundment.".
