ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 30, To ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, To ASSEMBLY BILL 1

AB1-ASA1-AA30,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB1-ASA1-AA30,1,3 1. Page 2, line 3: after the semicolon insert: "allowing a populous county to impose a ticket tax;".

AB1-ASA1-AA30,1,4 2. Page 15, line 23: after "TAX" insert "; local ticket tax".

AB1-ASA1-AA30,1,5 3. Page 22, line 4: after that line insert:

AB1-ASA1-AA30,1,7 " Section 49m. Subchapter X of chapter 77 [precedes 77.994] of the statutes is created to read:

AB1-ASA1-AA30,1,10 Subchapter x Local ticket tax

AB1-ASA1-AA30,1,13 77.994 Imposition. (1) A county that has a population of 500,000 or more, by resolution of the county board, may impose a tax at the rate of no more than $2 per ticket on the tickets sold at a professional baseball stadium in that county.

AB1-ASA1-AA30,2,2 (2) The county shall use the proceeds of the tax under sub. (1) to fund infrastructure costs.

AB1-ASA1-AA30,2,4 77.995 Administration. (1) The department of revenue shall administer the tax under this subchapter.

AB1-ASA1-AA30,2,7 (2) Sections 77.52 (4), 77.58 (1) to (5) and (7), 77.59, 77.60, 77.61 (5), (8), (9) and (12) to (14) and 77.62, as they apply to the taxes under subch. III, apply to the tax under this subchapter.".
