SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 3

AB3-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB3-SA2,1,4 1. Page 2, line 2: before the material inserted by assembly amendment 1, insert "except that this subsection does not exclude transactions that are primarily for an agricultural purpose from ch. 425,".

AB3-SA2,1,6 2. Page 2, line 14: on page 1, line 9, of the material inserted by assembly amendment 1, delete "ch. 427" and substitute "chs. 425 and 427".

AB3-SA2,1,8 3. Page 9, line 1: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with on page 11, line 8, and substitute:

AB3-SA2,1,9 " Section 30m. 425.102 of the statutes is amended to read:

AB3-SA2,1,13 425.102 Scope. This subchapter applies to actions or other proceedings brought by a creditor to enforce rights arising from consumer credit transactions, including transactions primarily for an agricultural purpose, and to extortionate extensions of credit under s. 425.108.

AB3-SA2, s. 31m Section 31m. 425.201 of the statutes is amended to read:

AB3-SA2,2,4 425.201 Scope. This subchapter applies to the enforcement by a creditor of security interests in collateral, including collateral given with respect to credit transactions entered into primarily for an agricultural purpose.".
