AB220-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB220-SA1,1,3 21. Page 2, line 1: on page 2 of the material inserted by assembly amendment
33, after line 14 insert:
AB220-SA1,1,4 4" Section 1m. 939.52 (1) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB220-SA1,1,65 939.52 (1) (intro.)  Except as provided in ss. 940.16 (4), 946.86 and 946.87,
6forfeitures in chs. 939 to 951 are classified as follows:".
AB220-SA1,1,7 72. Page 3, line 6: delete lines 6 to 12 and substitute:
AB220-SA1,1,9 8"(2) Except as provided in sub. (3), no person may intentionally perform a
9partial-birth abortion.
AB220-SA1,1,12 10(3) Subsection (2) does not apply to a partial-birth abortion that is performed
11after a physician certifies that continuation of the pregnancy does any of the
12following:
AB220-SA1,1,1313 (a) Threatens the woman's life.
AB220-SA1,2,6
1(b) Risks injury to the woman's physical health either from a severely
2debilitating disease or impairment caused by the pregnancy or because the
3pregnancy creates an inability to provide necessary treatment for a life-threatening
4condition. This paragraph does not apply to any condition that cannot be medically
5diagnosed or to any condition for which termination of pregnancy is not medically
6indicated.
AB220-SA1,2,9 7(4) Any person who violates sub. (2) may be required to forfeit not more than
8$100,000 for a first offense and not more than $200,000 for a 2nd or subsequent
9offense.".
