AB351-ASA1-AA11,1,3 " Section 9m. 36.25 (38) of the statutes is created to read:

AB351-ASA1-AA11,1,10 36.25 (38) Studies on reducing incarceration and the impact of prisons. The board shall direct all institutions and centers to conduct ongoing studies concerning ways to reduce the rate of incarceration of criminal offenders and concerning the positive and negative impact that a correctional institution has on the community in which it is located. The board shall provide for the results of the studies made under this subsection to be reported by January 31 of each year to the legislature under s. 13.172 (2), to the governor and to the secretary of state.".
