AB482-ASA1,1,2 An Act to create 125.07 (1) (b) 6. of the statutes; relating to: providing alcohol beverages to an underage person.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB482-ASA1, s. 1 Section 1. 125.07 (1) (b) 6. of the statutes is created to read:

AB482-ASA1,2,2 125.07 (1) (b) 6. Only one penalty may be imposed under this paragraph for each underage person who is provided alcohol beverages contrary to this section or a local ordinance in conformity with this section. No Class "A", Class "B" or Class "C" licensee, Class "B" or "Class B" licensee or permittee, or agent appointed under s. 125.04 (6), may be held liable for a violation that was committed by a person other than the licensee, permittee or agent if, prior to the violation, the licensee, permittee or agent provided the person who committed the violation with a written informational statement of the prohibitions under this subsection and obtained from that person a signed statement that he or she has received, read and understood the informational statement.

AB482-ASA1, s. 2 Section 2. Initial applicability.

AB482-ASA1,2,5 (1) This act first applies to penalties imposed on the effective date of this subsection.
