AB768-ASA1-AA46,1,2 1. Page 58, line 6: after that line insert:

AB768-ASA1-AA46,1,4 " Section 63wm. 29.09 (11m) (a) (intro.) and (d) 2. of the statutes, as created by 1997 Wisconsin Act 191, are amended to read:

AB768-ASA1-AA46,1,9 29.09 (11m) Denial and revocation of approvals based on child support delinquency. (a) Social security numbers required. (intro.) The Except as provided in par. (e), the department shall require an applicant who is an individual to provide his or her social security number as a condition of applying for, or applying to renew, any of the following approvals:

AB768-ASA1-AA46,2,2 (d) 2. As provided in the memorandum of understanding required under s. 49.857 (2) and except as provided in par. (e), the department shall deny an application to issue or renew an approval specified in par. (a) 1. to 3. if the applicant for or the holder of the approval fails to provide his or her social security number as required under par. (a).

AB768-ASA1-AA46, s. 63wt Section 63wt. 29.09 (11m) (e) of the statutes is created to read:

AB768-ASA1-AA46,2,9 29.09 (11m) (e) Refusal for religious reasons. The department may not require an applicant for an approval specified in par. (a) 1. to 3. to provide his or her social security number if the applicant refuses to provide his or her social security number for religious reasons. The department may not deny an application to issue or renew an approval on the basis of par. (a) if the applicant for or holder of the approval refuses to provide his or her social security number for religious reasons.".
