SENATE AMENDMENT 19, TO 1997 ASSEMBLY BILL 768

AB768-SA19,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 1, as follows:

AB768-SA19,1,4 1. Page 15, line 19: after the semicolon insert "the collection of social security numbers from applicants for hunting and fishing licenses;".

AB768-SA19,1,5 2. Page 58, line 6: after that line insert:

AB768-SA19,1,7 " Section 63xe. 29.09 (11m) (a) 1. to 3. of the statutes, as created by 1997 Wisconsin Act 191, are repealed and recreated to read:

AB768-SA19,2,17 3. Page 59, line 23: after that line insert:

AB768-SA19,2,19 " Section 64g. 29.1085 (3) (c) 1. of the statutes, as affected by 1997 Wisconsin Act 191, is amended to read:

AB768-SA19,2,23 29.1085 (3) (c) 1. The department shall issue a notice of approval to those qualified applicants selected to receive a Class A bear license. A person who receives a notice of approval and who pays the required fee shall be issued the license subject to s. 29.09 (11m).

AB768-SA19, s. 64gm Section 64gm. 29.1085 (3) (c) 2. of the statutes, as affected by 1997 Wisconsin Act 191, is amended to read:

AB768-SA19,3,5 29.1085 (3) (c) 2. A Class B bear license shall be issued subject to s. 29.09 (11m) by the department or by a county clerk to any resident who applies for this license and who pays the required fee.".

AB768-SA19,3,6 4. Page 60, line 15: after that line insert:

AB768-SA19,3,8 " Section 66em. 29.138 (5m) of the statutes, as created by 1997 Wisconsin Act 191, is repealed.".

AB768-SA19,3,9 5. Page 60, line 20: after that line insert:

AB768-SA19,3,11 " Section 66L. 29.145 (1c) of the statutes, as affected by 1997 Wisconsin Act 191, is amended to read:

AB768-SA19,3,14 29.145 (1c) Fishing license for disabled persons. (intro.) The department shall issue, subject to s. 29.09 (11m), an annual disabled person fishing license to any resident who applies for this license and who does one of the following:".

AB768-SA19,3,15 6. Page 145, line 11: after that line insert:

AB768-SA19,3,17 " Section 214e. 49.857 (1) (d) 2m. of the statutes, as created by 1997 Wisconsin Act 191, is repealed.".
